KCP is going to his 1st Finals and even though I'm not a Lakers fan, let's congratulate his success thus far!

I'm a huge Lakers fan... in fact I've been following and supporting the Lakers a lot longer than the Dawgs.
I'm happy for KCP and the rest of the team. It's been a long drought, but we're back in the finals and it should be an excellent series.

So this is how we treat past Dawgs, huh? Smh, you can wish well for someone even if you don't like the sport or team. It sucks everytime Chubb and Sony score on my team, but they were Dawgs so I celebrate for them everytime. From what I remember, KCP had no issues here at UGA and now he is in the league where kids around the world get to see him and possibly be exposed to UGA. Isn't it a goal here to get a ring in basketball someday? Wouldn't that help in recruiting? I dont get how some of you think, its like you hate just for hate's sake.

I interpreted to mean "i'm not excited about basketball (or the NBA playoffs) or something like that. I didn't think it was a jab at KCP.
Still, its a jab. I see ppl talking about Dawgs in baseball, tennis, and golf with no issues. Not one word of "I dont watch this or that". Bring up basketball, which we claim we want to recruit and compete better in, and there is negative reactions. For what?
