A win over Alabama would make Stetson Bennett a lot more than a good story
Stetson Bennett IV has undeniably been a good story to this point. The former Georgia walk-on, who wore a mail carrier hat just to try and get noticed on the recruiting circuit, was put into the leading role against Arkanssas. He helped turn around the Georgia offense en route to a 37-10 win. Then against Auburn, he

I watched him play in person for 3 years in high school. If he had of been 6'3" he would have been one of the top recruits in the nation. I've told all my UGA buddies if they ever truly give him a chance he'll show he can play in the SEC. I'm not saying he's some NFL QB but he has moxy that you can't just teach. I just hope he can keep it rolling against the Tide this weekend. Come on Mailman, just deliver it on time Saturday night!!!
He said his dream has always been to take UGA to win the SEC Championship then on to win the Natty. At my age I can afford to give things away plus I can't wait 40 more years for another Natty I will be dead then. So I am willing to give away my right nut, one kidney and one lung to see his dreams come true! Go SBIV and Go Dawgs!!!!
Ole Lady Luck hasn't done the Dawg's any favors against Alabama for some time now. That can't last forever.
Maybe Bennett is the player to get it done. GOOODAWGS!
I’ll go a step further...without Stetson, we have no chance against Bama! JT is still a huge question mark. Mathis’ most glaring weakness was lack of poise in five series against a weak team. Against Bama, a lack of poise will get your head handed to you on a platter!
I really want to see Mike Griffith eat his words.
I'm with you brother. 77 plus 40 = a number that is certainly unattainable for me (unless the Good Lord decides otherwise). I'd really like to see several NCs before He calls me home.
I thought I was replying to this post, not my own.

If the DAWGS beat Bama Bennett will be more than a dreamer, he will be a legend. It will be a game remembered by DAWG fans forever. He has little to loose and everything to gain. He and the DAWGS are DANGEROUS. If I were Saben I'd be worried going into this game.
😂😂😂
I'm 58, so I definitely can't wait 40 more years either lol
So happy for Stetson to see that the hard work he has put in is paying off. Last year he came in as nothing more than an insurance policy for Fromm and never got any meaningful minutes. This year, where would we be without him? And why can't he be successful? Look at the last few Oklahoma QB's who won Heisman's by the way. None of them were any bigger, stronger or faster (as we are finding out) than Bennett.
How does Jamie Newman have to be feeling right about now, watching this? All the football that is being played and nobody dying from covid and he is sitting at home watching.??.. What a bad decision on his part. I am sure there was an agent whispering in his ear to help him as well. His draft stock is falling with every week of the season that goes by. Hate it for ya'....
Maybe the rumors about Newman getting beat out by Daniels or Mathis were only that, rumors. Perhaps he saw then what everyone else is seeing now. Whatever the reason, I wish nothing but the best for Bennett as he has earned every opportunity he has been given. Let's hope this fairytale story can continue...
Beating Bama would make Stetson an instant Legend. If he leads us to a Natty, then he'll never buy a beer in Dawgnation for life.
Stets to Bama special delivery......The mail was delivered and on time! UGA 4-0. Such a delivery will earn Stets entry into the football hall of fame.
