“I felt comfortable in Athens,” Mims said. “I felt comfortable around the coaching staff. I felt comfortable around the players. So I feel like I fit in there.” You get that a lot from UGA recruit commits. Comfortable. Family environment. That's UGA.

Welcome young Mims! UGA could not ask for a finer future OT!!

    GO DAWGS!!!

I felt good about this until I read Jeff's line about not necessarily seeing his commitment as a "done deal." So what does that mean? He's committing but he's willing to consider other schools. I hate that approach. I think the NCAA should make a rule that says once a kid commits to a school, he's theirs, unless his head or position coach leaves. A kid doesn't HAVE to commit early, but once he does, that should be the end of things. I can live without the occasional George Pickens flips. Maybe they'll think a little harder and longer before they commit. Hope Mims stays with the Dawgs!

Now, that's real good news, so can we reel in a few more of the elite recruits before November 1. We got a QB, we got the OL we got a RB, still need more DL and more LB's and DB's. How many slots does UGA have left? You stated they are up to 16 commitments. So what's the bottom line to finish out the year?
