Man I hate it for Waddle. I really wanted bama to hang 70 on rocky flop. Jeremy Pruitt and the vol fans are such errognent lovers. How is that even possible lol. But back to bama. I think the difference in them and every other team in college is them relievers. My goodness they drop nothing and they go get the ball between the defenders. I mean dang Metchie between them 2 defenders no way he should of caught that. Can't even say it is luck they do that everytime the ball comes there way.

I'm sick about what happened to Waddle. It could happen to anyone but really stinks for such a great athlete. I really thought Saban's comment during the halftime sideline interview bashing Waddle for his judgement for taking out the kickoff so deep in the end zone was poor and unnecessary. I know Nick was frustrated but c'mon. Bolden looked like a pretty capable replacement for Waddle, but Bama will be hard pressed to replace Waddle's playmaking ability. I don't think this hurts Bama's playoff chances at all but may change Saban's offensive schemes.

Hate to see Waddle injured. Such a promising career now in doubt. It goes to illustrate the difficulty in competing in the SEC where one injury can derail a season. Much of the criticism of our program would possibly be different if Roquan had not been injured in the National Championship game. Picture Clemson and Ohio State with an injury at the quarterback position. Each team is one hit away from disaster. That is why you have to have depth to have a chance. Picture Bama now if something happens to Mack Jones or Devonte Smith.

In a game that my team is significantly favored and assured victory, I doubt I would choose to put my star player on special teams returning kicks. That's just me. I hate it for Waddle, his family and his team. I also believe Bama is not as potent without him. And, I am convinced Saban agrees with me...just look at that halftime interview with questions about Waddle, he looked very upset, not because that young man is out for the season but because their team is not as good without him.
