Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. "I could care less if they vote. I just want them to beat FL. How does this have anything to do with football?"
Universities tend to encourage civic participation. It's a good thing. Vote for whoever you like; just be engaged.
Today feels like game day to me, like there is a championship on the line. Just hope the USA can pull off the win again.
Take responsibility for your life, that's a good lesson for all young men to learn. Help your race, help your town, help your state and help your country. Be a positive influence and a role model. Broaden your horizons. Question everything. Especially, those who try to teach you you are a victim. You can achieve great things with hard work and respect for others. The sky is the limit. Go Dawgs!
Is this page becoming another news and political outlet? This has no impact to the football field.
@tybeedawg and @Eschamion , Obviously you all missed the mark on this one. I for on am glad that these universities are putting an emphasis ensuring that each STUDENT-ATHLETE has a civic duty to be engaged within their own communities. Football can wait a day. Most of these guys won't make it at the next level and even if they do its important for them to understand the world doesn't evolve around football.
Thanks Connor for this article as it highlights the need for these young men to be involved beyond the football field. Tomorrow will bring about a new day for us to trash talk those nasty gators...
Go Dawgs!!!
