That's wonderful to read. I was beginning to get concerned once CBS claimed he'd be a first round pick. Even if he averaged 400+ yards for all remaining games, I don't think that would've been been realistic. Otherwise, both Lawrence and Fields would've declared last year.

Is it wrong to hope Vandy is able to stop our run which will force Smart to do some heavy passing?

Lawrence and Fields are both juniors this year.

But yeah, the tweet is pretty encouraging. It would just be kind of a weird thing to say if plan A at this point isn't to come back next year. Like, what else could it mean? "Hey, watch what I'm gonna do to Vanderbilt"?

Interesting on the Arian Smith highlight above JT had I think Kearis running wide open across the middle on a little shorter route. Nice to see our receivers get some open looks rather than always covered like a blanket.

Lawrence and Fields were true sophomores last year, they weren't eligible to declare for the NFL draft.

Vandy earlier had a decent offense....defense gave Florida a problem first half. Last week, Mizzou rattled the Commodore's cage offensively and defensively....it turned out to be a scrimmage. UGA should be able to handle Vandy and give the young players some needed reps. Likely another ground game. If Kirby would turn JT loose, he could score 50 in the air...but that is not going to happen. UGA RBs should have another "field day."
