Anybody have any insider information?
I'm convinced that, at the D1 level, elite receivers are critical to winning championships but elite DBs are critical ONLY in games that are close. An elite receiver can score on an elite DB; however, an elite DB cannot shut-out an elite receiver.
I hope we get commitments from all of these elites DBs still on the board but CKS and company better be recruiting at minimum one top three receiver in EVERY class because that is what Bama and Clemson are doing every year.
It’s funny how an elite defensive line makes the DBs so much better
