Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

SEC office releases official statement on Georgia-Vanderbilt postponement
The Georgia football game with Vanderbilt has been postponed and will not take place on Saturday Dec. 5 as originally scheduled with the Commodores having COVID-19 issues

The 12th Mizzou....Vandy 19th. At least UGA gets to complete the season....unless Covid rears its **** head yet again? Surreal year!
DawgNation rules: Keep forgetting cannot use benign word u*ly but can use Lord's Name in vain and other scurrilous terms. Need to redefine the rules. My personal opinion.
This has nothing to do with covid. That's just an excuse. This game will not be played, period. The players have quit on the team, due to the firing of Mason, and with Fuller getting so much press time on her berating the team for not cheering on the sidelines. And the Vandy AD was going to continue the "political correctness" move by bringing her to UGA, just a bad look and move. Unless they cut ties with her and figure out what to do with the coaching staff, these players will not come back.
Nobody stated any numbers on "positive" tests, just protocols. Need a certain number of players at each position, that's it.
GO DAWGS!!!!
What an utter embarrassment Vandy is to our conference and as an institution.. I'm pretty sure Vandy knew all along behind their closed crappy field house doors this game was never going to be played but led everyone own up until 1pm today.
The UGA Athletic Department should demand the SEC provide UGA in reimbursement the following... 1. Vandy officially forfeit the contest if it is not played Dec 19th and therefore UGA is the winner of record 2. Vandy forfeits all conference school revenues (TV etc...) from this forfeited game over to UGA and Vandy reimburses UGA total lost gate and concession revenue and any other lost revenue . 3. or UGA demand from the SEC office that the 2021 game be played in Athens as an official home game.
Lets see if McGarity and the interim guy have two balls to play with in managing this shameful and initial move by the cowards from Nashville.
One upside: Maybe it increases that chance that LeCounte gets to play in one more home game.
Vandy should be kicked out of the SEC, they get $43.7 million from the SEC TV deals just like every other team in the Conference, and have not made any improvements to their program, what are they doing with all that money?
Good Question
Three home games. And yet some will still say that playing an extra away game, in Jacksonville, every year, is good for the program. Happy we didn't have to see the gators thrash the Dawgs and Rudy at home. But it would have been nice to have FOUR games at home, at least. I have a dream that the Georgia-Florida game is a HOME GAME every other year, instead of an AWAY game EVERY year, Vandy is moved to Auburn's spot in the schedule and Auburn has to travel to Dooley Field TWICE, so we can get our stolen home game back from them. My guess is nobody in GA Athletics has the guts to present that. GO DAWGS.
And also the reimbursement to whoever paid the way for the family members to be there on Senior Day. Some had to travel with expenses.
And still play 2022 in Athens, to get back on schedule.
GO DAWGS!!!!
