Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Georgia football transfer receivers catch on to new programs
Georgia football transfer receivers Makiya Tongue and Trey Blount have found new homes, both leaving the Bulldogs via the NCAA transfer portal

Some of the unexpected benefits of the transfer portal. More scholarships available to offer. Schools are just going to have to start accepting the reality of the situation and adapt. In a few years it will be routine, and I'm sure there will be coaches that "encourage" certain players to jump into the portal.
Has Matt Landers entered the transfer portal yet?
That’d be great news for ol fingers landers. I call him fingers cause he certainly ain’t got hands!
Know Jermaine's dad has suggested that Jermaine will enter the portal, but he has yet to do so, and I understand that he is thought to be reconsidering - Kirby is likely re-recruiting him. When Azeez jumps to the NFL, Jermaine will then become the Big Dawg - I'm sure this is likely the pitch being made. Would love to see him and Nolan as the main bookends next year with Adam as the third in the rotation. Believe if Jermaine gets the same snaps Azeez has gotten this year, he would have his tape he desires for next year's draft!
No. You can go to 247Sports and view the portal to see the current ones: D'wan, Makiya, Blount, Netori, and Kolby Wyatt (a walk-on tight end that has been with the team several years playing various positions like Prather Hudson). All have found their destinations with the exception of Netori Johnson. D'wan is going to Temple, Makiya to Oregon State where his dad played, Blount to Old Dominion, and Wyatt to Hawaii. As an aside, Tennessee currently has 12 players in the portal. The mass exodus is beginning for Vol-land!
No to the mention of Matt Landers that is...
Yawn....don't care where they play next. Why do you insist on talking about players not in the program any more? The media's product is negativity, Sad.
Do you really think coaches haven't been "encouraging" some players to do this for years already?
