I still love the traditional look, but for the bowl let the players wear what they like. Don't let the decision be based on what the bowl people want. They get enough already. Make it be more about the players.
Sorry, I prefer the red. I know we are the visitors in this game so I guess the black is fine but if I had my "druthers", I'd rather wear red. Now if someone can bring back 70's or 80's technology and get our silver britches. or maybe ask Dallas how they do it.
I agree with SCDawgFan that players should pick the jerseys for a non-playoff bowl game. The bowl game is a reward for all the years hard work, so let them have a voice for this one game. Even better, may be to let the seniors playing their last game pick the jerseys.
I think the Red helmets, Black Jerseys and Silver - not Red pants, makes the best looking alternate uniform in CFB.
I like that they're wearing them for this game. The players as well as recruits will like the way they look.
