Faith is very important to Jack Podlesny. After his huge performance against Cincinnati, it's easy to see why Georgia teammates had such a strong belief in Podlesny. With just seven seconds left in the game and Georgia trailing by two, Georgia redshirt sophomore Jack Podlesny trouted out for a 53-yard field goal

Honestly didn't know much about Podlesny at the beginning of the season, but now he's earned a scholarship and the right to be called a DGD!!!
Glad to see the Dawgs fight through against a good and inspired team, and come out with the win.
Hot Pod has earned a scholarship for this season.
That was a heck of a kick. I was on the edge of my seat begging for it to go through the entire time! And he's a local kid. Which makes the winning kick even sweeter! Way to go, Jack! Way to go, Dawgs! And that was a great win over a great team. Proud of my Dawgs!

I love this kid, not just because of his foot but also his faith, humility, and his approach to life. God bless you Jack! God bless your parents for raising a wonderful example of what a Christian is suppose to be. You will be getting a scholarship very soon but that scholarship will not really matter because you are successful at life.
I have to say this too, Nakobe Dean is so good. He will be a finalist for the Butkus award in 2021. Also, I was very impressed with the play of Brini. Well done gentlemen.
Brini had the biggest advance in his play of any Dawg today. Stepped up his game.
