The 2020 college football season came to an end on Monday night with Alabama pummeling Ohio State. Shortly after the win, the Crimson Tide topped the final AP Poll of the season, as Alabama breezed to a 13-0 record against an 11-game SEC slate and playoff games against Notre Dame and Ohio State. The Georgia Bulldogs

Alabama, just reloads, and never has to rebuild. UGA is always rebuilding. we must get more like Bama.

You do understand Alabama is historically good. Every team in America wants to get more like Bama which is not going to happen. We will catch them and next year may be it but not sure if anyone will ever be able to sustain what they've done over the last 14 years

I agree with this. We’ve ascended to the point of being a perennial top 10 team, now it’s time to model ourselves after the best version of UGA football. Not to focus on copy and pasting what Saban has built.

We must have our guys buy in to our process. However, this is similar or the same as Alabama. Do you see all the guys that elected to say another year and how many were projected first rounders. We need guys to stay because experience matters! Leaving for a 2nd or 3rd day pick is crazy. Almost all of those leaving this year will be 3rd picks. STAY AND ELEVATE!

The Dawgs are usually overranked and overhyped pre-season....then we come out and stumble along with way, disappoint and frustrate the heck out of fans and coaches alike. NEXT season though, I am expecting nothing less than a playoff berth. Nothing less. Period. We're reloading with many starters who are coming back to finish the business of a National Championship (just like Bama's returnees did just yesterday). We have zero excuses and are stacked everywhere that's truly important. The OL shouldn't be an issue nor should the secondary. Tired of reading articles about potential "gaps" in our game. Yawn. No season is going to be perfect, and no team has all those gaps filled from Day One. Those are nothing but excuses and really nothing a guy like Nick Saban ever worries about when you have 5 star recruits in your pocket - just like the Dawgs do. Let's try and be more like Saban and simply Get 'Er Done!!

The SEC East is seriously ours to lose. We've already won it. There is no reason on this earth we should not play for the SEC Championship and make the playoffs. And based on the rebuilding Clemson is going to have to do I don't see why we can't beat the Tigers. Daniels and DJ compare very evenly based on previous records.

Kirby (season #6) and the Dawgs are entering a pivotal year next season. Let's see how good of a coach Kirby really is....after 8-9 years under Saban you'd think he'd know how to produce with winning formula.

I think we should be ranked easily in the Top 4 Pre-season.

    GO DAWGS!

First off, there are only a very small handful of teams that will ever be as good as Bama - even for one season - as long as Nick Saban is the head coach. The Dawgs SHOULD be among those teams.

You know let's just start with one single Natty that isn't 40+ years old. Then we can go from there. There is simply NO reason - based on getting as good or better recruiting classes as ANY team in the country (including Bama, Clemson and OSU) - that we shouldn't be in the playoffs and competing for a Natty every single year or most years. But right now let's just get one National Championship. I'm not asking for much here. What's it going to take?

Kirby's stated goal is to reach the playoffs every year and win a National Championship. Kirby coached under Saban for 8-9 years, so he KNOWS "the process" at Bama as good as anyone. It's up to him to find that winning formula and develop, coach, & teach players accordingly. His staff is top notch.

When a team finds the consistent winning formula then it builds on itself. Players believe. Coaches believe. Fans believe. That belief feeds on itself and permeates the entire organization. That's a belief that you can win, deserve to win, and overcome adversity. I honestly don't know if the Dawgs have that belief.

Teams like USC, Florida State, Notre Dame, Michigan, etc....all went through their legacies of winning National Titles for many years. Those teams used to be juggernauts. Now many are struggling with just average recruiting classes and losing records. BUT, they had their run in the sun years ago. The Dawgs need their run in the sun!

This is way, too, funny. Absurd. Next year there is a significant makeover on both offense and defense. We should be in a better position at QB and receivers but it ends there. The defensive secondary was less than stellar this year, the good teams were able to throw big time and score on us. Offensively, we have consistently over the past couple of years not been able to put together a consistently good running game, some of which was because our passing game was so poor. Nevertheless, there is still a significant turnover on offense and especially along the LOS. After 5 years KS has been able to effectively recruit, I suppose, but player development has not been there. I know that is complicated by guys playing two years and going or now jumping into the "portal." But what makes BAMA a consistent cut above all the rest and perennial contenders is player development. MR was weak in this area and so far so has KS been. One of the patterns you see with Saban is that he takes a lot of the head coaches that get canned, that are excellent coaches in a specific area, and he brings them in and mentors them, and the players benefit from their expertise. It has turned out to be a great formula and synergy.

Watch, come draft time, BAMA will have at least 7-8 players go in the first 2 rounds. We may...have 2. Player development or else the recruiting thing is a sham. We may have that many next year, that's why 2021 is our year. If not then when?

JT. , Anderson, Dean, Wyatt, Jordan, Nolan Smith, Salyer, Pickens. White? unless we can persuade a couple to come back like this year. We could have 8-9 guys go in the first 2 rounds. 2021 or bust!

Klatt is a joke—no way he believes UGA should be ranked above Bama. He is always running down Georgia and now he is hyping us? Just about the clicks.

On the AP poll—I have no respect at all for that poll.
