@Gramster, I agree and I’d be totally happy if Newman completes every pass into the hands of an opposing defender. He couldn’t take the heat and competition in Athens and really hurt our Dawgs. At least JT Daniels wasn’t afraid to compete against Newman or Brock. Go Dawgs, Go JT, Go Brock and Jamie (the Deacon).....you can just go to....
Pictures of this guy in Georgia gear should be regarded like we regard those of some dude who visited our campus, and got his picture taken in a Dawg jersey but decided to play for the University of West Gainesville (FL).
It was his right to do what he decided to do, but whatever the opposite of a DGD is called is the appropriate term for him.

He IS NOT a DAWG.. Stop referring to him as such just because he commited to UGA. He never played a single down, so he's far from qualifying as a DAWG. He deserves the weak acc moniker "deacon"..
I am sure if Newman finds himself at the bottom of the QB list he will opt out due to the "various new stains of covid 19!"
He never dressed out for 1 game for the Dawgs. He never played for the Dawgs. He came over and practiced a little bit and tucked it in. I don’t care who he plays for.

Well, I hope he has a bright future... but a slow one getting started. I'm hoping for him to have a 5th+ round position and know that he could've been 1st round with us had he stayed and competed.
I mean, clearly JT is the better fit, BUT he didn't get his chance till late. Does this mean that Mathis was ahead of him in the QB rankings?
Hey, maybe next we can have a story about Washington State QB Gunner Cruz. He is about as relevant to this site as jamie newman. And he is in the transfer portal so there is that. Or maybe we can get a story on Henry Blackburn, a freshman DB at Colorado State. I think he may have heard of UGA so that is relevance.
Or are we only doing Senior Bowl players that have nothing to do with the University of Georgia? In that case, can we get an article on Brian Mills, out of North Carolina Central? I mean, if we are going to go full on irrelevant to UGA, let's do the story some real justice.
