It sounds like KS has definitely done his homework and made an excellent choice. A great coach and a great recruiter, we need both!
On paper, at least, this looks to be a very good hire. I hope he measures up. Way to go, Kirby. Go Dawgs!
Another head scratcher, like the O-Line has been the past few years. Getting ready to send 2 DB'S to the 1st 2 rounds of the Draft in Stokes and Campbell but collectively we weren't elite in defensive passing efficiency. HUH? Send players to the 1st round of the draft off the O-line but we weren't good at picking up short yardage at crucial times in the game. Anyone remember the FLA fiasco? 1st and Goal? How many times did we get stopped 4th and 1 or 3rd and 1 in 2018 and 2019? Look at the talent we sent to the NFL.
Our passing efficiency on offense was middle of the pack also. Although it did improve under JT. All the big boys finished in the top 10 (BAMA, Ohio St, Oklahoma, and even FLA. ) Clemson came in at #13. We were like 48th.
These are major areas where improvement has to happen in order to be an elite team. Passing efficiency on both sides of the ball.
What about rushing? BAMA ran for 600 more yards than UGA this past year. We were known as a "rushing" team and BAMA for "passing". Let that sink in. FLA was known for passing also. Our rushing stats were very similar to FLA's.
Lot's of room for improvement. Come on coaches! Get these awesome talented players to perform as a team, instead of a loose group of 1st and 2nd round individuals.
We've got to expect better! How do we just come in middle of the pact in so many categories with our talent pool? Scratching my head.
Welcome to the DAWG Family Coach Addae..GoDAWGS!
Looks like a "W"!! Hope it translates into more!!
Is Demetrius Robinson returning? I know this is off topic, but I'd like to know the answer. Does anyone know?
Sounds like Jahmile Addae already knows how to coach em up. Now, he's about to get a crash course in how to recruit with the best of them.
Welcome to the Big league, coach Addae! GOOOODAWGS!
"Addae was recognized by Rivals.com as one of the top-10 recruiters in the Big East Conference."
Did he travel back in time for that recognition?
I understand that he will be back!
Could be good! If not, we have a secret weapon waiting to use if needed.
Hopefully, he is around a while.
