Wow! 2 5* QB's in successive classes! Welcome to the DAWG Family Young man. QB room should be interesting to watch with JT, Beck, Vandagriff, and Stockton battling it out..GoDAWGS!
Talk about a logjam of QB talent! With Todd Monken's system in place and the depth of talent at the WR position, whoever wins the Georgia QB job has the potential to thrive. But only one guy can be QB1, and the other guys either have to wait for their time or look elsewhere for opportunities. Gunner looks like a special player, though and I'm glad he's going to be wearing the Red and Black. There certainly is a chance that either Beck or Vandagriff will be the next star QB after JT and that Stockton would be the next in line after that. Hope it works out that way, but we shall see.

Saw Gunner play against Vandagriff's squad on ESPNU this year. He was hands down the better competitor... Vandagriff was the better QB, technically; but Gunner was the guy you'd want to have the ball in his hands when you're down by a score late in the 4th quarter. It'll be fun to watch this QB duel go down!
Also, this is reassuring in regards to Monken's ability to recruit elite QB's!! Let's hope he sticks around a few more years!
Can anyone say: Baker Mayfield? Just a comparison the way he evades the rush and rolls out and hits someone deep. Gob's of talent. Electric arm.

There's also Carson Beck in the mix who is a big and accurate 5 star who has had a year of learning the system. Lets hope that CKS can evaluate all of the potential talent he has and make the right decision.
