- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

WATCH: Discussing the biggest hits and misses from the Georgia football 2021 class
The 2021 recruiting cycle was certainly one of the more challenging ones in the history of recruiting due to the prospects not being able to visit campuses. COVID-19 prevented coaches from getting to visit players and vice-versa. Georgia navigated the class better than most as it landed the No. 3 recruiting class in

How does UGA slow Bama’s recruiting momentum? Pay Saban more to retire than what he’s making to coach the next five years. If he refuses, based on some crime shows I have seen recently, there seems to be a lot of wise guys in NYC with names like Guido and Italian last names that get paid handsomely to handle such matters.
Seriously, the empire Saban has built, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama of all places, led to the perfect storm created by COVID which led to Bama landing the top rated class ever. For Saban, no visits, no problem. All recruits need to see that no other program can duplicate regardless of facilities or resources are the NC rings.
You can come to BAMA and win a NC championship every other year or you can go somewhere else and not. It's up to you. Sales pitch, over.
At some point you have to knock the top goat off the mountain, he ain't coming down on his own.
I'll continue to say this until the day I die and no one will ever convince me otherwise. But the current trajectories of the UGA and Alabama programs, I'm convinced, are directly tied to the Dawg's loss to the Tide in the 2018 NC game. We win that game (as we SHOULD HAVE) and I believe we would have at least two NC by now and the 50-50 recruits that always seem to choose Bama over UGA, would have been Athens bound. CKS would be the kid genius who schooled his mentor and master, Jake Fromm would have become the darling of college football instead of Tua T., and the entire outlook of the UGA program -- from the highest administrator, to the coaches, to the players, to the students and fans, to recruits -- would be drastically different. It all goes back to that one game -- one play, really -- and I believe the history books will eventually portray it that way. Go Dawgs!
