I’m pretty certain with a healthy Daniels at qb two or three games earlier this past season we could have averaged somewhere in the 7-8 points per game higher than 2019. Lanning is going to be picked by someone in the near future for a head coach position but would love to see him stay around long enough to get that elusive Natty. I’m looking forward to a revamped offense this season with a healthy and more experienced Daniels and Monken being able to open up the playbook. Go Dawgs!
With talent on the defensive side second only to perhaps BAMA, I would say Lanning has done a good job(who couldn't with the overall talent we've had? But has he done anything beyond what's expected? Has he shut down BAMA? FLA ? teams with great offenses? No! Where is his statement game? Overall, pretty good, just not great.
Keep coaching and learning and put together a championship elite defense. Then the heavens open. The pieces are there.
