SEC office assigns first-place Alabama to UGA

It's almost comical at this point ...

Seems like a good thing. UGA needs all of the wins that it can get to have a chance to make the NCAA tournament. A win over Bama looks much better on the resume than a win over Texas A&M. At this point in the season, there is not much downside to losing to Bama.

It would only stand to reason we actually beat Alabama after dropping both games to a really bad SC team. It’s hard being a Dawgs basketball fan sometimes.

The loss to South Carolina pretty much sealed any hopes that UGA had of a tournament bid, unless it wins the SEC tournament.
