I put out a post awhile back about how loaded this past recruiting class was. Again I'll say COREY COLLINS IS A DUDE! Guy looks like a 25 year old big leaguer. Hitting .400 to start the year and already has 2 hrs. We are 5; yes 5 deep behind the plate! Gonzalez ( another freshman) tied up the game at 1 against a really good prospect for GW (Miller.) Dawgs go up 2-1 in the 8th with Pearson on the bump. Double dip today. Should get a few vets back by next weekend.

Swept GW. 6-1 on the year. We played ALOT of freshman and rs freshmen. Few vets out til next weekend. Webb looked strong and when Cannon makes it back next week, I think Cannon will start Friday's. Webb Sat and most likely CJ Smith Sunday. ( At least when conference play starts.) We've got some VERY GOOD young players folks. As I said about 4 to 5 months ago Corey Collins is the DUDE. We have SO much talent behind the plate. That's where I played (until A ball w the Orioles.) Collins is a catcher. But not as sharp defensively as Gonzalez. Both are tearing the cover off of the ball to start the year. Just these 2 in particular have made it tough for a 2 year starter back there to find innings (Meadows.) Regardless of what goes down this year, the talent in ALL areas that we landed from this class WILL take us to Omaha in 2 to 3 years or something really bad took place to keep it from happening. Too many power bats and arms. Lots of future draftees. GATA

Dawgs up in game 3. 12-2 bottom of the 6th. Blaylock has 2 bombs and 5 rbi's today. Connor Tate 4 for 4 with 4 ribbies. That man Corey Collins with another multi hit game.
