Yes, we need our QB to get the ball out quicker. I've been saying this for awhile now. Speed kills, and we have plenty of it. Watch the Kansas City Chiefs offense and see how quick Mahomes gets the ball out of his hands. They are fun to watch. Let's go Dawgs!
Smart has all the pieces put together to make a Championship run. No doubt. Will he do it though?
Team DNA, synergy, and camaraderie are super important. Coaching and development are super important. But to get to the elite level and play for a Championship your players and your entire program MUST believe you deserve to be there, can beat your opponents, deserve to win, and constantly display a win-at-all-costs attitude. Winning must ultimately permeate the entire organization.
Totally agree! The closer our guys are to one another, and I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, the harder they will fight with one another during battle. Kirby should make guys who don't usually hang out together, do so. Get to know one another a little better. That also includes the coaching staff. There is always room for improvement.
