Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

The men’s 4x400 relay team is UGA’s “dark horse” leading up to the NCAA championships
This story was written by Sydney Lowe of Grady Sports. The Grady Sports Media Program is an undergraduate program for students at the University of Georgia. When Georgia competes at the NCAA indoor track and field championships this weekend, it will feature a relay team that is unlike anything the school has ever had

Matthew Boling and Elijah Godwin will set the pace for this event. Boling is an exceptional 400 competitor....having run one of the fastest times in the 400 this year...in the world! He competed in the 400 several times in HS in Texas and won nearly all of those races. He is also a pretty good sprinter..though there are a couple with better times that have bested him this indoor season in the SEC...in the 200. My hope for a sprint win is the 4 X 400...other than that the heptathlon and maybe the long jump. I agree with the author....UGA is not a sprint mecca. High hopes rested on supposed sprint phenom Matthew Boling, but he has not measured up to the media hype... in the SEC championship events. He did set a UGA sprint record, however, in the 200. UGA needs to recruit the top sprinters..not hyped...top. Boling ran a wind-aided 100 meters in HS ..9.98, but has not come close since in college. The competition at the college level is far superior to HS. I found that out myself as a sprinter in college. I am rooting for the Dawgs!!!! The NCAA events are the top in the nation.
National champion in the 200. One of the fastest 400's in the country (world) this year. You must have been an exceptional sprinter to think that is not all that good :) I too was a sprinter in college and I would have been pretty pleased with that year!
