Maybe his NFL receivers are running the wrong routes also. If he can't even make 3rd string what does that say about just how good he is.
Let's be honest Jake made the best of his talent in college, I have watched many UGA games played back on Youtube and played back most of his passing attempts in slow motion. There were many times Jake may have thrown to the receiver the play was originally designed to go to,(often covered) but he sure didn't go through a progression, there would be a receiver wide open(no one even close to them) and he didn't see them.
Sometimes players run the wrong route and sometimes QB's miss seeing the open receiver. It happens.
Unfortunately while Jake was a good leader and a very good college QB(not great)just as was Aaron Murray, neither one looks like they are/were good enough to stick in the NFL. No shame there, just a tad over-rated. DGD's though.
