- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.
Gatorade
I was looking at some old discussion on the board since its a little slow today and came across a pic of CKS getting doused with Gatorade after the Baylor win. It made me curious about Gatorade because - brace yourself for the sacrilege - if I am honest, I think Powerade sucks and I am a Gatorade fan. I wish it wasn't true but it is. Anyway, I decided to search the WWW to see whether or not UF actually got anything out of Gatorade sales other than the brand recognition - to try and make myself feel better. I came across this article - I found it informative, a little disappointing (because yes they make some money off of it), and hilarious ...
I take some satisfaction/justification in knowing that they should be making a heck of a lot more off of it if they hadn't been so arrogant and blown it off up front... such a classic Florida thing to do.

As an in state rival, do you think Miami fans take any satisfaction in seeing their colors plastered on the logo?
Yes, and that is precisely the reason I do not drink Gatorade. Why would anyone send money to UF?
Pedialyte fruit punch is my rehydration drink of choice. Less calories, less carbs, & less sugar than Gatorade.
Propel zero calories is made by Gatorade but has a much cleaner taste.
NEVER EVER SPEND MONEY ON OR DRINK GATORADE. EVER!
Interesting how different folks have different tastes. I've always thought Powerade was much better than Gatorade. But I don't drink either one at this point. No Gator products. No Coke products.
It's all marketing. There is nothing special about Gatoraid or Poweraid or any other "sports" drinks.
Pickle Juice
Lol
good for toughening up the hands, in case you are pitcher with blister problems.
Brawndo: the thirst mutilator.
So adequate it even comes from fountains, isnt the best for crops tho lol.
" He broke my house when I was watching ouch my b a l l s" lmbo🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I simply just cannot stand the root word of "Gator" contained in the title of the product. I DO remember way back in the early days of Gatorade, the athletes referred to the stuff in a very, very bad way:
In the same boat and miss my Mexican cokes with peanuts
