    Yeah, I'm a little curious as to why Nick wasn't retained/promoted. I know there's a lot at work in the MUCH bigger picture, but that was (is) a head-scratcher.

    I agree @brvhrt. If Williams is as integral to recruiting as some seem to think he is, it does make one wonder why he couldn't be kept around. I'm sure we could have matched A&M, although they have so much money that they will vastly overpay people and think nothing of it. But I read all this about how Nick Williams was our star recruiter and I can't help but think that only a couple of years ago, all anyone could talk about were the recruiting exploits of Dell McGee. And he's STILL in Athens. So I don't think all is lost.

    Team chemistry along with a winning attitude & belief that permeates the entire football program (think Bama) are very key to winning championships. Both those things are imperative.

    Well said and So true !! Can be the difference between just a pretty good team or a great team. And until I see different I’m Believing that’s the attitude with the UGA football program now.

    IF one player doesn't make a team, surely one coach doesn't either.
