“These are two schools that have their whole lives been the top dog of wherever they have been: Southwest Conference, Big 8 and together in the Big 12,” Tramel noted. “And they have been able to ramrod a conference with whatever type of policies they wanted to push through.

“That turned off some people. turned off Texas A&M, it turned off Nebraska, and they know it’s not going to be that way in the SEC.”

So, we're letting in a couple of lovebirds, who are also bullies? 🤣 🤣 Alrighty, then! Let's be sure to put them in the same division. Wouldn't want them to have a hissy fit! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    GO DAWGS!

Everyone says the sec will definitely vote them in. I agree, OU and Texas would not make formal declarations or ask to join if they had any doubt of the outcome. This happening also confirms that those who said a 12 team playoff is definitely coming are correct. I don’t think OU joins the sec in the current 4 team format.

LOL...Riley and OU cheesing like they just beat somebody. I get cracked up every time one of these teams act like they've arrived every time they beat an SEC "team" that doesn't give two @#$%^ about being there. Just a different standard altogether. That's not SEC arrogance--That's objective truth.

Great interview Mike. Tramel is so knowledgeable about the situation and his matter-of-fact way of speaking shows it. He doesn’t sugar coat anything. Looks like this is a done deal. Reminds me of the morning we woke up and the Braves announced that they were moving to Cobb County, what a surprise. But hey, that has been the greatest thing ever. Maybe this will be as well? Maybe?

Did the biased columnist notice that the #1 most successful athletic program in all of college sports is Texas? They just won the Director’s Cup for (2020-2021). UGA was #10 and Oklahoma is nowhere to be found. Yes, the Sooners are better (right now) in football, but Texas brings light years more talent to the SEC. Go Dawgs!!!
