ATHENS — Georgia football put Scrimmage One behind it, and while there was much left to be desired, Kirby Smart pointed out that’s why you hold them.

Hmmm...sounds like a 1st scrimmage cluster...too many folks out for whatever reason...need to get them back for scrimmage #2...JT not getting it done...glad to hear the tackling was solid...hard to know how to really read between the lines of this report but doesn't sound very good.

We've got a very very long way to go if we're going to stay on the field with those monsters from Clemson and give them a game. Our boys are worn out from practices, barely able to move they're so beat up, and will be lucky to recover in time for the season opener. Our backs are already against the wall. Clemson's knocking knocking knocking on the door. Can we hunker down and get healthy enough to field a team in not even three more weeks?
I like it very much.
