What a tough row to hoe. The Bravos just took 2 of 3 at home against The Giants who have both the best overall record and best road record in MLB. The reward is going on the road to play The Dodgers and Rockies for 7 games. They have the 2 best home records in MLB.
Starting with 2 losses to The Yankees and beating The Giants 2 of 3, The Braves surely have the toughest schedule down the stretch in baseball. The Yankees, The Giants, The Dodgers, The Rockies, The Nationals, The Marlins, The Rockies again, The Giants again, The Diamondbacks, The Padres, The Phillies and closing with The Mets.

Man, that is just about as hard as it gets in the MLB. Anything above playing at a .500 winning percentage during a road stretch that tough would be respectable, but I suspect that they will need to instead play even above a .600 winning clip in order to keep things rolling along.
We could see the 4.5 game lead over Philly evaporate in a hurry if we don't go at least 3-4 during these next 7 road games. I have faith in Snitker and our players, but it's going to be tough sledding. It's not going to get much easier after that, but if we can make it back to Atlanta with a 3 game lead, we'll still be in pretty good shape.
We will see. This stretch is most daunting. I’d love to see the Braves exceed my expectations.
The team looked dead in the water when both Soroka and Acuna went down for the season. That doesn't mean they'll overcome this gauntlet, but I wouldn't bet against them.
The Phillies are in the midst of a very easy part of their schedule. The could conceivably win 5 or 6 of their next 6 games. Their upcoming opponents are the Marlins, Nationals, Brewers and Cubs. The Braves need to play some of their best ball during the next two weeks to keep pace. 🙏🏻
To be the best you have to beat the best
Some schedules are tougher than others, I'd prefer not have to play so many games against the very best teams over such a short period, The Braves probably have the toughest schedule in MLB down the stretch.
Hard to play one Cali team and not some of the others, right? I mean, if you are in the neighborhood, you have to drop by. Of course, SF is a bit of a surprise this year - I wouldn't have predicted their record when the schedule was being created.
I believe the schedule is fairly close to balanced. We got part of this lead when the Phillies got swept by Arizona.
