I’m curious if Arik is registered and in classes this semester. If not then I don’t think he’s eligible to play if he decides to return. No matter, I’m wishing him the best as he deals with his personal issues. Go Dawgs and good luck Arik.

Would be a shame if Pickens never suits up for UGA again. It will always feel as if we got cheated out him at his very best. Same as with Todd Gurley. And does anyone know if Blaylock is expected to play at all this season at all? I'm honestly surprised that he's not farther along in his recovery by now.

The Blaylock injury is curious. It was injured a year ago and is still not right yet Pickens was injured in March and we are looking for him in October (possibly)? I know not all injuries are the same but that is a really long time to heal, especially when you have a whole medical team dedicated to getting you healed.

Blaylock won't be back anytime soon. He re-injured the same ACL that he tore 2 years ago. If he's not back yet, don't expect him at all. ACL injuries have a limited time frame for full healing and range of motion. If you don't get that full ROM by a certain point then you aren't going to get it. Ever. And it's one thing to be healed, and it's a completely different thing to be ready to play full contact football. He's obviously had recovery issues. It shouldn't take this long, and if he isn't back by now then just mark him gone for now. October for Pickens is VERY optimistic for a full game mode recovery. I doubt it.
