GameDay/Clear Bag/Type 1 Diabetes

Hello All. I have been to many football games but my son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in April so this will be our first game with all of his medical supplies. I understand the clear bag policy. He has a small sling bag that has all of his supplies. Will he have to put all of his supplies in a clear bag instead of this sling bag? I just wanted to see if anyone has any experience with this. If I have to buy a clear bag, I will.
