Praying nothing serious for JT but would be good to get both Beck and Vandagriff some game reps.

Sounds like he's injured to some extent, but he's going to play. I used to not believe these "leaks" about injuries, but I've noticed that they generally turn out to be more on point than any info we get from the team. Remember, when Washington and Tykee Smith went down, the first reports from UGA was that they "would be fine" and were listed as "day-to-day." Day-to-Day is now trending toward "out at least a month." So, again, I believe there's truth to the rumors that JT is hurt somehow, but because he has been seen at practice by several different sources, I believe he plays on Saturday, although we should prepare for lots of handoffs and short passes. In other words, get ready for Clemson 2.0. Go Dawgs!

He won't play unless Beck flames out and we are losing.

I’m not a medical professional and I’m not on UGA’s coaching staff but IMHO JT Daniels will start the game vs. UAB. I think Kirby will try to be as aggressive as possible on both sides of the ball and try to build a good lead as soon as possible. Once KS feels the lead is solid enough to put UAB on ice he will pull JT and probably put Beck in. I honestly don’t think the sky is falling concerning JT. But even if JT sees limited action or worse case no action, this is a good time for the O line to continue to develop chemistry with each other. A good time for the WRs to clean up all those blocking and out of position errors KS spoke of. If the Dawgs come in and take the game serious they should win it. But I don’t think UAB will just stick their heads in the sand and Allow the Dawgs to steam roller them. They are a proud and feisty team. Their gonna give all they have to give. Our beloved Dawgs need to take them very serious as with ALL the games on the schedule. Go into the Home Place and really put a big whupping and early on this UAB team. They need to totally remove any chance of an upset early on. I know, I know, Dawgs fans will say Well if we lose to a team like UAB we don’t deserve talk and consideration of a Ntl. Title. Normally I’d agree and just put an auto W up. But I hope our Coaches & Players come in all business. Because after a huge and wearying game like the Clemson W these are the kind of games that can sneak up and bite you !! Put Em away Big & Fast is my take . THEN you can bring in more back up guys. P.S. To those of you who Do know about sports injuries it’s OK if we speculate here, we’re just fans. How long does it take to fully recover from an injury like that ?? And is it any possibility that’s part of the reason he didn’t throw any real deep balls ?? I honestly don’t know that’s why I’m asking. Thank You in advance . Oh and maybe it is minor as at least he’s practicing. McConkey and McClendon didn’t seem to worried in their responses to questions from media about it.
