One of the best plays of this past game against UAB is going unnoticed and not getting any attention. When Jordan Davis chased down the UAB quarterback by the UGA sideline early in the game, I believe that demonstrated the intensity and fire that Coach Lanning and Coach Smart have this defense playing at. That play will show up on Davis's highlight reel when he is drafted, demonstrating his speed for being such a big guy. That notion of him just being a plug the hole player was just disproved with that effort and athleticism. He could have very easily just jogged and watched the play unfold. Love the passion that these defensive players are playing with!
