    He should be able to get over a lower back sprain in a few days. I can't believe sore stomach muscles kept Daniels out of last week's game.

    I could easily see the injury Daniels is dealing with being a significant one for someone whose job is to execute an over-the-top throwing motion over and over again. It's a motion that stretches and/or contorts the whole upper body to at least some degree. And the area of the injury is called "the core" for a reason.

    At the very least, it's something you don't want to aggravate by the time more difficult opponents come along. We probably could have put just about anyone back there against UAB and gotten the win.
