Traumatized Vanderbilt won’t let 62-0 Georgia loss define program
Vanderbilt coach Clark Lea called his team a “Traumatized group” earlier the season, and it appeared the Commodores have yet to recover.

Wow, it sounds like UGA wasn’t even there ‘cause the ‘Dores just beat themselves!
Lets be honest, coach Lea knew they had virtually no chance of winning but wanted his guys to compete and show heart. I don’t think he was discounting Georgia so much as he was disappointed in the way his team displayed a lack of mental toughness. Coach Lea has a mountain to climb in getting Vanderbilt to be SEC quality football team and their efforts so far are not meeting his expectations. That’s why he says “ it’s all about us”.
I wish he had said more (or we had read more) along the lines of what Coach Beamer said last week after we beat USC. How about something like, "we didn't play well, obviously, but Georgia is a very good football team. I don't know if they're 62 points better, but when you don't execute in any phase of the game, this is what happens when you play teams as talented as UGA." None of this, "it's about us, not them," crap. It most definitely IS about them! Go Dawgs!
That's what being taken behind the woodshed looks like. 62-0 sure makes a nice headline.
NOBODY SCORES ON OUR D AND I MEAN NOBODY THIS GAME WONT EVEN BE COMPETITIVE UNTIL HE PUTS STETSON IN TO STALL OUR OFFENSE WE ALL KNOW KIRBY RESPECTS PITTMAN SO HE’LL ALLOW (HIS GUY) TO THROW THE PIGS A BONE OR 2
