ATHENS — Brutal, efficient and convincing, Georgia football staked a claim as the best program in the country on Saturday.

Great game and loved seeing and hearing the effect of our 12th man!! RBU showed its stuff today. A conservative offensive scheme unfolded based on what Arky gave us on defense and Bennett trying to not make mistakes and just manage the game. Not exactly what I expected, but I'll take it.
GO DAWGS!!
Stunned. Stets maintained his poise. DL overwhelmed a poor Arky OL. They are defenseless against the run. Still going what just happened here?
PS. I am eating crow for things I said before.....bony!!!
I especially love our fast start on offense against what was touted to be a good defense. Go Dawgs!
Come on in fellers the water is fine!.
Only bad thing today is if we had any big time receiving recruits at the game. Kirby went into safe mode right away. Only way Arkansas had a chance was if Stetson gave up some picks, so he nullified that chance. On the other hand if there were any RB recruits they had to have enjoyed it.
on the way home from the game…I said the same thing when I saw that the kid from Collins Hill WR who is the nation’s top pick was at the game.
I wanted to see a big offensive play and it just never came…
Arky was bottled up in the east end of the stadium right in front of the student section and Redcoat Band for the whole first quarter. I don't believe they could hear themselves think...
Definitely a traditional smash-mouth offense and the running production was awesome.
I'm tired of talking about it, so last time. Bennett did a good job running, but only okay in passing. Arkansas seemed to do a good job covering the receivers, but if they had loaded-the-box, I'm not sure Bennett's passing numbers would been too impressive. One of his 11 passes was ill-advised and should've been picked off. Along those lines, remember that we're 5 games into the season and Vandagriff hasn't thrown a pass. Georgia got up 21 points in the 1st quarter and Beck was never called in the game. That clearly has to be a statement that he should find another team.
The OL was as dominate today as I have ever seen them. Kirby and staff had a great game plan. Let the Defense stomp a Mud hole in Arkansas's offense, let Bennett manage the offense, and get the special teams involved in the scoring.
Why do people keep worrying about what Carson Beck will do NEXT YEAR? Why does everyone assume that he's "ready" to play now? Obviously Kirby and the coaches don't believe that he is and the Dawgs have done well without him, thus far. So if he transfers, he transfers. That's life. UGA will survive and thrive. Go Dawgs!
