Georgia football winners and losers following Week 5 win over Arkansas
Georgia football took down Arkansas in commanding fashion on Saturday.

When he blocked the kick, I was wondering where did this kid come from? Now I know, his name is Dan Jackson.
You can tell, as more time goes on White just keeps getting more of his previous agility back. That off balance run into the end-zone was something special.
Congratulations to the O-line! Run game, as well!
Thanks for your hard work Conner. Good article!
I looked up Jackson's name a couple of times during the game. Great story. Go Dawgs!
One knee took a helluva strain on that run. I was relieved, and a bit surprised, to see him walk off the field without a limp. That kind of torque can cause serious injury. That clip should prove that his knees have healed completely (maybe better than before injury) to everyone, specifically the NFL.
He actually played some in the Clemson game.
There was no roster to be had (got there a little late) so when #47 came on the field, I kept trying to figure out who he was. Eyesight is not what it used to be.
But he played hard and with effort. THAT I could see. Great play this week and glad he is getting a little press.
Go Dawgs!
Dan Jackson has been getting talked about since the Spring. Kirby said back then that he was going to play. Most fans probably didn't pay attention because he's not a scholarship player and didn't have a lot of prior name recognition. But what Kirby said about him is showing itself to be true. That defense, though. I know we're only at Game 5, but can we go ahead and give Dan Lanning a big raise and put like a $20 million buyout in his contract so other schools will be reluctant (or unable) to come for him? Go Dawgs!
