I discussed this prior to the season on social media. The Georgia secondary was a concern because of the unknown when it came to experience but to be label them a weakness without the a given opportunity to perform was merely an assumption by the talking heads. Much was stated about the loss of secondary through graduation and the transfer portal but I was of the mindset that, our past secondary was one that had cost us against quality passing teams. To me, they were a weakness so I was kind of looking forward what was to come from the young highly touted Georgia secondary. I had high hopes for this group full of 4 and 5 star athletes. Sure we got some help from the portal but up until the last game or so, only one of the two transfers were healthy enough to play. Our young guys have done an outstanding job up until this point. A lot of that credit should go to our defensive front and backers. But to keep our secondary's current success in perspective, I'm not sure we've faced a prolific passing offense yet.
