I’ve noticed how **** opposing teams/HCs act these days when playing a #1 ranked team. 1) Players are more mouthy than ever before, 2) HCs will do anything short of selling their souls to score a meaningless fg or TD, even calling multiple timeouts with 3 seconds left. All while our HC goes out of his way to make sure we don’t score late, 3) somebody (ADs?) lets network know inane records to be mentioned like, “UF needed that late TD to keep their no-shutout streak going to 400+“. Lol congrats.

Not to pile on but the thought that momentum was ever in Mizzou’s favor has to be tailored to try and give fans and players anything remotely good out of a thorough butt whooping. The games are always 4 quarters and what happens in a tiny moment in time can create shifts and momentum but not when you lose by 30+ points. Best to tip your hat, soothe the wounds, grab a few takeaways, and hope you don’t meet that bear again.
