I think we can stop with the "Heisman moment" stuff. JD is one of the best players in the nation, yes. And our defense wouldn't be he same without him. He has earned every bit of support and adoration that we can give him. But as much as he might deserve it, it's time to accept the reality that he's not going to be invited to the quarterback party in New York. And any voters who might be on the fence aren't going to be swayed by a 1 yard touchdown against Charleston Southern. It was nice to see him get a touchdown to his name before his illustrious career at Georgia came to an end, but framing it in Heisman terms actually takes something away from it, in my opinion. I think it's time for us to bow out of this with our collective dignity in tact.
we looked good for 1.5 quarters then went on complete cruise control. I lost interest in the 2nd half.
What happened to Chris Smith? Will he be back for SECCG?
Kirby said it was a bruised knee. Think he said it happened in practice on Tuesday or Wednesday. Just procaution, I think.
Agree. It was nice, but why? Would it of been worth it, if he got injured? Especially since the o-line did what they always do, let a free rusher into get a shot on JD99. Right on the knee. And it took twice. Come on. Lol.
GO DAWGS!!!!!
