It's CLEAN, good ole fashioned HATE week!! Whoop, Whoop!
SQUASH THEM BEES!
GO DAWGS!!
Unleash the Dawgs, Kirby! Let'em eat. Don't coast the second half. Let Bama see what you've got. Use 2nd team sparingly. I personally think UGA should remove Tech from the roster. Waste of UGA talent. My opinion only.
So we would be on the down side of a 20 point spread to the Catholics?
Dawgs will absolutely crush the bugs !! Only thing I worry about is the bugs playing dirty out of desperation. They have nothing to lose. They have been known to dive at our players knees trying to take them out. I hope Kirby will be on the lookout for that at the very start. Go Dawgs !!
Tech hates us! Let's humiliate them. No first downs! Block punts. Sack them in every offensive possession. Pick sixes in every quarter! Empty Grant Field by halftime. Make them quit football for water ballet! Go Dawgs!!!
Break them!!!!
I would support either eliminating this game or moving it to early in the season. Move the South Carolina game to the end of the season. I also would support only scheduling GSU and GA State as the non-power 5 teams on the calendar. Why pay $1 million dollars to an out of state team just to fill out the schedule. If you have to pay someone to play on Athens, the at least pay another in-state University.
Interesting. I was going to say "I wonder why it's only a 35 point spread when always-overrated-Notre-Dame shut them out by 55", but looking at Tech's performance this week and it's not as bad as you'd think.
Yes, they lost to Northern Ill, but by 1 point. Lost to Clemson by 6 points (can't judge that after our win against them). They beat down a decent UNC team (who beat #10 Wake Forest). They then lost 5 straight games by 8 pts to Virginia (6-5), 9 pts for Va Tech (5-6), 3 pts to Miami (6-5) and 11 pts to Boston College (6-5) before getting their butts beat by Notre Dame.
I'm not exactly worried about losing the game, but they could sneak up on us and score more points than we'd like if we're not focused.
The Dawgs should take care Saturday, Tech plays dirty. UGA does not need more injuries before playing Alabama in the SEC Championship game the following Saturday.
