Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

C 19 and the CFP

After reading about the very rapid progression in cases noted in the WSJ this AM, and the NFL games that are postponed, I have a question. What happens if a CFP game gets cancelled due to Covid positives? Do they just postpone the game, or does a team take a forfeit?

Hope our boys got there booster shots over the break. I think I heard we were 100% vaccinated before the season.
Current rule is forfeit I think
The state of Michigan is getting it bad. My work team up there has been decimated.
The symptoms for the latest version are very mild. The reports are pretty much "cold like" symptoms.
The jabs aren't vaccines. They won't prevent you from contracting the virus or transmitting the virus. Israel has some of the highest infection rates and they are the most jabbed country on the planet, I think they're on their fourth or fifth booster shot. So, a person that has received the jab, can still test positive for the virus.
Frankly, I'm sick of the bs. It's time to move on with life, and get back to normal. People get colds and flu, if they're too sick to play fine. If they're perfectly healthy and a positive test keeps them out of the game, that's insane.
The world has gone nuts.
You need to do a little more research. It’s not about cases it’s about severity and most of the severe cases are unvaccinated. Call it what you want but every hospital in the nation will tell you the unvaccinated faces the worst problems and were the highest % hospitalized.

Let's don't let this thread go in a direction that it would need to be closed.
What’s the policy for testing on vaccinated players? Just test if symptomatic?
Here is a good starting point from the NCAA prior to the season. The CFPC may have their own policies in place.

"All championships will require a level of testing for Tier 1 and 2 participants before arrival at the championship site."
