Once again, from Tom Crean we hear a litany of things the Dawgs "should have done" after the fact. Who's the coach again?
It is always the same story after every lost. The team do not have any pure shooters and that is one of the main issue. Coach Crean and his staff needs to evaluate players better. Players that can help the team by being consistent scorers. This has always been his team biggest concern. If Georgia go in a different direction with a new coach, please hire a coach who can evaluate talent.
It's hard when you basically lose your ENTIRE TEAM from the year before due to transfers and have to bring in TEN PLAYERS. THEN you lose your 2 best players for the season due to injury. They will play hard, but don't expect much from this season. Crean is in a near impossible situation.
Understandable so but the team from last year had the same result and the ones before that. I am not saying he is a bad coach. I am saying he needs to find some shooters who can make basket and change the game. That comes with evaluating.
Kentucky, Duke, Alabama, Tennessee, and Auburn has lost players but they don't show the same results each year. Plus they make the tournament. Georgia haven't made the tourney in years and probably want until they gets some players who can get them there.
