Kirby Smart explains why he refused Gatorade bath
In the closing seconds of the Orange Bowl, veteran UGA players Zamir White and James Cook crept towards coach Kirby Smart with a bucket of Gatorade.

Dominate Bama, then celebrate!
He did not want to get wet, covered with sticky stuff and have to wear it back to the Hotel, plain and simple
He would put up with it, if a National Championship, otherwise it's a bothersome aggravation. LOL
If you lose the last game of the season, no one will care or remember anything else about this season other than what could've, should've been. Celebrate the win but finish the job in Indy, then they can throw Kirby in a pool of Gatorade.
Good move by Kirby. He sent a message, that they haven't accomplished their goal yet.
Time to work, not celebrate...
Locked in Kirby wants Nick’s head this time
He kind of said its about the kids not him. But then again let them have a little something. Maybe they should have dumped it on Nakobe or Derrion
Why wasn't it Powerade, a Coca-Cola product, instead of something with Gator in the name? I assume a stadium requirement.
If they beat Bama in 10 days, I don't think Kirby will care what yellow liquid gets poured over his body!
The Gatorade bath is a pretty **** cliche after all these years, and I for one would like to see it go away. If you were a coach, you would too.
Got to believe it’s Powerade not that other green/orange liquid. We wouldn’t have anything with “Gator” in the name on our sideline! LOL!
Go Dawgs! Hate on Bama!
