    Really tough to see these men leave...but it is what it is. This is the best UGA team I have seen...even better than 1980. I wish Travon Godspeed and a great NFL career.

    Tough day for Dawgnation but expected. That Pickens catch and that Walker pursuit run down, on the biggest stage against the top program in CFB, are 2 plays for the archives.

    The departures we are seeing are part of the reason college football has become much more focused on offense over the last 5 to 10 years. It is much easier to find QB’s, running backs and receivers than it is to find and develop elite defensive talent. As a result, most teams will stock up on offense and hope to have an above average defense. The UGA defense this year was generational. No one should expect anything like that again. We now need to ensure there is an explosive offense.
