"Like Smart, Bobo and Will Muschamp, McClendon played at Georgia as a wide receiver from 2002 through 2005." Wow, I must've missed Smart, Bobo, and Muschamp running wheel routes...

Awesome hire for Receiver's coach. McClendon is a DGD and has a great resume. Former 247 Recruiter of the year 2014.

UGA just snapped up one fantastic recruiter and WR coach. I thought Bryan was locked in at Miami.

McClendon is going to have the tools to recruit like never before! Now, someone in the QB room has got to make the jump to SEC elite to show prospects UGA is capable of being elite on both sides of the ball!

Great hire and now hopefully he can coach up some of our players like he did with Deebo Samuel. Go Dawgs!!! Fun pearl, Deebo is a first team All Pro this season, but was barely a 3-star out of HS. He was the #838 recruit nationally, #23 in South Carolina and the #112 wide receiver. Amazing growth and lots of teams missed out on this amazing talent including our Dawgs. Guess who discovered him? Steve Spurrier and then he was coached-up by McClendon his Junior and senior years.
