Georgia battles Tennessee in home finale, falls short
Georgia basketball closed out the home portion of its schedule with a gallant but fruitless effort against No. 13 Tennessee. on Tuesday night

1-16 SEC....at least they only lost by 7. They try hard but alas do not have the "size or depth" to win...reprise of most games. I am sure Josh Brooks will step in after this season and make the necessary change.
hard to have depth when your whole team transferred out last year. We were fortunate to win the one SEC game this year. What an embarrassment for a proud univerisity and athletic program. Will the current coach be able to turn it around? No. Time for a change.
And to think we got rid of Mark Fox because he “ONLY” averaged 20 wins per season. Go figure.
"Fix men's basketball" should be the number one priority on the Athletic Department to-do list, and it should have been there for a while now. Plans should have been in place earlier, and it's time to start executing those plans.
It's a new era in basketball with so many transfers and one-and-done players, and there are 2 paths to success: Option 1 -- recruit dream teams that can win on talent in a single year. UGA doesn't have the brand image in basketball t be able to do that, which leaves us option 2 -- recruit players who will be willing to stick around, coach them up, and build team chemistry. Crean has not been able to do that, and has had ample opportunity. Time for a change.
Also -- the administration needs to make it clear that basketball will be supported in the same way football is. I'm not saying it isn't; I'm saying the administration needs to affirm that commitment in a loud and clear manner.
Transfers are a big part of college sports these days. But, I just gotsta ask, why such an exodus from Georgia?
