Creative Kirby Smart helping Georgia football through spring ‘growing pains’
ATHENS — Kirby Smart’s take on scrimmage was telling, in the sense that it’s obvious the seventh-year Georgia football coach likes the make-up and attitude of his team.

Coach 'em up Coach!
Has anyone heard news on Tykee Smith’s injury status? Will he be back soon and able to compete next Fall?
Kirby is a creative and invested coach....always the team concept in mind....with the healthy and injured. It is tough coming off a natty knowing 14 top players have moved on , plus 4 key starters are now injured and out for the spring. G-Day should be revealing. I just pray there are no serious injuries. The OL has made serious strides, say coaches. That is a key focus of mine. Also, the ever present QB competition....though it looks as if Kirby is set there. I know this is general and nothing really new as G-Day will prove the real litmus test for many. I am just full of anticipation to watch the 2022 dogs perform. I do believe there will be plenty of action.,..so many slots are being contested. Kirby will field another "all-in" team...I know that. Kirby has proven himself. Indisputable.
