Bo Nix is an outstanding athlete, very good runner and tough, but he's not that great a passer. Dan Lanning must see something in him that I haven't seen since he was a freshman at Auburn.

Nix is Kirby’s kind of player. His toughness, competitiveness, 100% effort every play he is on the field, insatiable will to win. There’s so much Kirby in Lanning, my bet is he is Lanning’s kind of player as well. I won’t be surprised at all to see Oregon in the playoffs with one loss, that being to the Dawgs.

There is no truth to the rumor that during the water balloon fight that Nix could not be touched by the opposition's water balloons yet still missed on all of his water balloon throws.

Sometimes you have to give the opposition their due credit. To me this is one of those times. Dan Lanning has and is accomplishing exactly what I believe most Dawgs fans thought he would at Oregon. And that is a play off caliber team. The whole program seems to have fully embraced Dan and he’s making them a very, very good football team. Bo Nix was always a very good QB/Athlete just needed/needs some refining and now it seems he’s getting that. Our beloved Dawgs are gonna have to bring the full IT to get the W on these guys. I predict a fierce battle between these two teams in Hotlanta in Sept !! Should be a great game for pretty much Any college football fans to see in addition to the Dawgs and Ducks fans !! I believe our Dawgs will get the W in the end after a hard fought battle. I wish the best for the Ducks other than any time they face our Dawgs. So thankful for Dan and all he accomplished when he was here. I think he’s gonna be a great HC !! But sorry Dan I hope to see you and your Ducks lose when they face the Dawgs !! Go Dawgs !!

I've been watching this kid since he got to Auburn. Been waiting for him to become what he was supposed to become. He's had some really good games and everytime you thing he had a breakout performance, he comes back and makes some boneheaded plays, the next week that cost AUB a game. I don't know if it's him or the coaching he received. I guess we'll see.
