Kirby Smart after Georgia football spring game: ‘We’ve got to get better in the secondary’
Kirby Smart was blunt when speaking about the Georgia football secondary on Saturday.

Aside from hoping that Tykee returns close to the All-American form he exhibited at West Virginia, you gotta think that one or two really fine backs will see the opportunity to play at Georgia and enter the portal.
Just for possibilities (and kicks), I looked up All-Freshman teams. DBs from places like Colorado State, Central Michigan, Syracuse, Toledo and Tulane were among those recognized. C'mon, gents! Wouldn't you love to improve your development and showcase your talents for an NFL career by playing for the national champions in the SEC?
I like Poole as a utility piece that can help at multiple positions. DJackson as a backup as well. Not sure if NGreen or KLassiter are prime time, CFB playoff ready yet. If you can get something out of freshman great. But don't plan on it or expect it. Been saying all spring, IF UGA has the space, CB is where they need to go to the TP for some help. TSmith hurt his knee in mid-october. Likely be mid-october '22 before he is ready to go. At the earliest. Have to wonder if CKS's "we have to get better in the secondary" is an advertisement for those in or considering the TP.
"The guys that want to be here, we’re going to coach them. The guys that don’t, then we’re not going to chase after them."
I found this quote from Kirby Smart quite interesting. I wonder who he is talking about because YOU KNOW that he's talking about somebody. Stay tuned, Dawg fans.
