Manning in Tuscaloosa? Or Manning in Athens? Athens wins that. All that Bama has to offer Manning really is really good WR recent history. I just don't see him going to Texas. Just don't. Not in the SEC. Not going against the best defenses in practices or games. Not getting better quicker by going there and may not be ready when the time comes to play say, I don't know, the Georgia freakin Bulldogs...! So Bama signs a top QB recruit today. I think they would take Manning too, if wanted to go there. I have no info, just my sense. Jeff Sentell thinks strongly they won't take 2, especially not 2 top ones. My money would be that he is wrong about that though. Heck UGA has and more than once. Anyway, I was thinking Bama was the fav, but my gut is now telling me it's UGA. And I can't believe that! But it is! But maybe I'm tired....lol

More than likely, he will have to redshirt just like Bryce Young did. It's rare for an elite 5 star QB to unseat the incumbent 4 or 5 star IF the incumbent is a good player because if the incumbent can actually play, Experience Matters! Who among us thinks that David Greene would have beaten out DJ Shockley if they were in the same recruiting class?
