For Jalen Carter to limit himself to clogging up the middle a la JDavis would be underachieving his immense talent. For 1, Davis and Carter have different size and skill sets. UGA has other players that can fill the JDavis role. Not as dominantly but still effectively.

UGA would be better served if Carter became a combination of TWalker and DWyatt. That would allow the DC to maximize his production by moving Carter around and taking advantage of mismatches and scheme. No OC would be able to game plan for JCarter lining up in the same spot play after play. Carter controlling space is less valuable than Carter attacking.

Ask Jalen Carter, Travon Walker and Jordan Davis if they would rather go #13 or #1 overall. Shows how the NFL values attacking vs controlling space. Based on Carter's production in '21-'22 do you really want to change his role?
